Harper Bell Seventh-day Adventist Primary school is a unique and popular 1 form entry school, located near the City Centre. The governing body is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Early Years Teaching Assistant for its Reception Class, who will join a positive, happy and hardworking team of staff.

We are looking for someone with passion and charisma who can support in the delivery of inspirational lessons to our fantastic children.

You will:

Have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Framework, a genuine passion for early childhood education and the skills to foster a nurturing learning environment for our youngest pupils. Possess suitable Teaching Assistant experience in supporting children with learning and development. Be committed to raising pupil attainment and have an understanding of intervention strategies. Be able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents. Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school. Having recently worked in a Pre-School/Nursery or Reception Class would be a distinct advantage.
