The Marriage Enrichment Fellowship (MEF) is pleased to announce an exciting and historic opportunity for couples in 2026. For the first time in its 20‑year history of marriage ministry within the South England Conference, MEF has been invited to host its annual Couples’ Retreat in Kigali, Rwanda, following a special invitation from the Rwandan High Commissioner.
Scheduled for 22–25 May 2026, the retreat will be led by Dr Gábor Mihalec, an experienced Adventist counsellor, author, and pastor, widely respected for his Christ‑centred approach to marriage enrichment and emotional healing.
The Kigali retreat will offer couples intentional time away to strengthen communication, deepen spiritual connection, and invest meaningfully in their relationship. In addition to the core retreat programme, couples may choose from a range of carefully curated experiences, including cultural site visits in Rwanda, an extended Rwanda safari at Akagera National Park, or a Maasai Mara safari experience in Kenya.
Due to international travel arrangements, spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Couples interested in participating are encouraged to register their interest as early as possible.
