“Share your photographs, stories, and memorabilia as we prepare to celebrate 125 years of mission and ministry.”
In 2027, the British Union Conference (BUC) celebrates 125 years of God’s leading – and we want your photos and memories to help tell the story.
To mark this milestone, the BUC is creating a collective photo gallery that will bring together images from across the territory: black-and-white snapshots and colour prints, newspaper clippings, and treasured memorabilia from churches and institutions, past and present. Every moment, no matter how small it may seem, forms part of the bigger picture of God’s faithfulness across 125 years.
Whether it is a faded photograph from a camp meeting decades ago, a clipping from a local church bulletin, or a recent memory from your congregation, we would love to see it.
How to Contribute
Contributing is simple.
If you have physical photographs, newspaper cuttings, or memorabilia, you can send them with your delegate to the BUC Session in July (1-3). BUC staff will scan the materials and return them to you the same day.
An online submission option will be made available soon for those who would prefer that method.
We also encourage you to ask around. Speak to long-standing members of your church, search through old files, and revisit forgotten albums. You may be surprised by what is waiting to be rediscovered.
Together, let us create a lasting record that reflects the breadth, richness, and diversity of Adventist life across the UK and Ireland – honouring 125 years of a story still being written.
