‘DO GOOD’ - ADRA-UK launches its 2022 Appeal

ADRA-UK

On 24 February 2022, as all legal Covid restrictions were lifted in England, the Ukraine crisis began. Just as we believed that life here in the UK was returning to 'normal', the people of Ukraine entered an era of mass displacement, loss of homes and livelihoods because of military action.

Your generosity of the past month has been amazing. Over the past four weeks, ADRA-UK has raised over £100,000. These monies have been sent to the ADRA network to support the Emergency Response Teams on the ground. And we will continue to support the Ukraine crisis and any other emergencies in accordance with guidance from ADRA International and our board of trustees.

But ADRA-UK's remit is not only to 'do good' in emergencies but also to offer justice, love, and compassion, through ongoing development programmes overseas. ADRA-UK works to 'do good' for hundreds of thousands of people worldwide who are in desperate need of help.

Our 2022 year-long Appeal starts tomorrow, 26 March, and we are asking you to continue to support ADRA's work with some of the world's most vulnerable people:

Sri Lanka, where people in rural communities lack clean water for drinking and washing Thailand, assist in improving the dangerous conditions for migrant factory workers from Myanmar Ghana, provide an impactful Covid-19 response Myanmar, support educational projects South Sudan, provide girls' education in one of the world's poorest countries The UK, equip and provide capacity building to local grassroots community hubs

We invite you to join us as we 'DO GOOD' in 2022 by donating at: https://adra.org.uk/adra-appeal/.
