Dear Fellow Believers,
I trust this letter finds you well and rejoicing in the grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
It is my pleasure to extend a warm invitation to individuals interested in Public Affairs (PA) of Communications, Religious Liberty (RL) and Stewardship to participate in this collaborative training specially targeted at individuals working in this area of the Church. The day titled “Facing Our Giants II” will explore key issues that our Church is currently facing such as Gender Questioning, the concept of Freedom for All, historical perspective of early Adventism and other issues.
This training provides a unique opportunity for us to deepen our understanding of communicating to our communities the principles of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty, allowing us to be better equipped as ambassadors of Christ in our communities, and our Stewardship segment will offer training in the area of the Stewardship Director.
Sabbath morning will see Dr Sam Neves the Associate GC Communication Director make a powerful presentation. Our midday service speaker with be Dr Kevin Burton from Andrew’s University. In the afternoon there will be different break-out meetings on Zoom. The Stewardship and Communications training will take place on Zoom whilst the PARL training will be in-person and on Zoom. Please indicate on the Registration form which session you would like to attend in the afternoon to ensure you receive the correct Zoom link
