BUC Session Delegates Elects Officers and Executive Committee Members for New Quinquennium

Delegates at the 2026 British Union Conference (BUC) Session have elected the Union's principal officers, several Mission officers, departmental directors and members of the Executive Committee who will serve during the 2026–2031 quinquennium.

The elections took place during the BUC Session held at the Heathrow Atrium Hotel, London, concluding on Friday 3 July. Following prayerful deliberation, the Nominating Committee presented its recommendations to delegates, who voted to appoint the Union's three officers.

British Union Conference Officers

Departmental Directors

·       Pastor Obinnaya Iheoma – Scottish Mission (SM) President

Session to Reconvene in August

Several ex officio appointments remain outstanding, including the Chief Executive Officer of ADRA-UK, the Manager of Stanborough Press, the Headteachers of Stanborough Primary and Stanborough Secondary Schools, and the Chief Editor of the Messenger. These appointments will be considered once the remaining departmental elections have been completed.

Owing to time constraints during the Session, delegates voted to suspend the remaining nominations and reconvene the Nominating Committee process on 6 August 2026, when recommendations for the remaining departmental directors will be presented to delegates for consideration.

The continuation of the Session will enable delegates to complete the election of the full leadership team for the new quinquennium.
