BUC releases four new TV programmes from their Mission in Motion initiative

Catherine Anthony Boldeau, BUC Director of Stewardship

Following the successful launch of Mission in Motion in May this year, the Stewardship department of the British Union Conference (BUC) has just released four short programmes for use by individuals and local churches as part of the initiative.

In the first programme, Pastor Alex Mareniuc, South England Conference Stewardship, Trust Services, and Jewish Relations Director, invites us to reflect on putting ‘God First’ as a lifestyle that should involve Total Member Involvement. In the second one, Dr Steve Currow, former Principal of Newbold College, brings clarity to systematic giving, the concept of the storehouse, and its implications in the 21st century.

Dr Aniel Barbe, General Conference Associate Stewardship Director, walks us through the Combined Offering Plan and its benefits to mission in the third programme. And finally, in the fourth programme, Wederly Aguiar, Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer (BUC), highlights how accountability and transparency strengthen stewardship.

“Mission in Motion is about creating effective stewardship strategies to empower mission in the UK and Ireland to light a world in need,” said Catherine Anthony Boldeau, BUC Stewardship Director. The BUC Stewardship Working Group believe that these programmes will support the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in this part of the world.
