Air India Flight Tragedy

Sam Davies
13 June 2025

We are deeply saddened by the tragic crash of an Air India flight departing from Ahmedabad, India. According to health officials, the London-bound aircraft struck a doctors’ hostel shortly after take-off, resulting in a devastating loss of life. Of the 242 people reportedly on board, 241 have been confirmed dead. One survivor—a British national—is said to be receiving medical attention.

Our hearts go out to the bereaved families, the survivor, and all those affected by this horrific incident. We also remember the people of India as they come to terms with this national tragedy.

Let us keep them all in our thoughts and prayers during this time of immense grief.

“The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

— Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
