There is no bigger audience than a broadcasting audience; broadcasting's biggest deal of the year is undoubtedly Christmas Day, as it's the day when everyone is home. The 2016 Christmas Day broadcasting schedule sees Adventist music featuring throughout the day.

Ken Burton will be directing, accompanying, singing, or being interviewed on all the programmes. He says "It's quite humbling when I think that millions who watch and listen to the various broadcasts will hear the name 'Adventist' several times throughout the day. However, we are not the point of focus ‒ Christ is, and I pray that as a Church body we can capitalise on this 'limelight' in a way which we can use to connect with people, and bring them eventually to a knowledge, and acceptance, of Christ and His salvation."

The line-up is as follows:

BBC Radio 2 8-10 am 'Good Morning' ‒ featuring the Adventist Vocal Ensemble.

BBC1 TV 11:00 am 'Songs of Praise Christmas Big Sing' ‒ involving the Adventist Vocal Ensemble.

BBC2 TV 8:30 pm 'Gospel Christmas' ‒ featuring Adventist male group Vadé. [Repeated 12:45 am Boxing Day]

BBC1 TV 11:45 pm 'On Christmas Night' ‒ featuring the Adventist Vocal Ensemble.

The Premier Christian Radio Christmas Day broadcast comes from the North Wembley Seventh-day Adventist church.

As part of this massive exposure, CDs of the groups are available to Evangelism departments, and we would invite members to spread the word. In light of the release of 'Hacksaw Ridge' in January, this is a not to be missed opportunity to let people know who we are, what we do, and whom we serve.
