North England Conference

Adventist Muslim Relations provides a unique ministry and mission in the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Dr Jeff Couzins
18 December 2025

We are finding that as more migrants to the UK arrive from Muslim lands, that many are exploring what it means to have a relationship with Jesus in a safe way. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is eminently positioned to lead Muslims to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Many Muslims are drawn to the Adventist lifestyle, along with the Church’s understanding of the Second Coming of Jesus, and its focus on community ministry.

People trained in Adventist Muslim Relations (AMR) ministry are equipped to share their faith with Muslims, along with demonstrating what Muslim texts really say about the Bible, Jesus, and the Sabbath.

The General Conference AMR department has prepared materials for sharing with your Muslim friends and neighbours, and the training equips members to share the materials effectively.

The North England Conference (NEC) AMR department has arranged various training Sabbaths. The dates and venues are below.

If you want to know more, or how to get involved, then either scan the QR code, or call the number below and ask for AMR department.

The General Conference has prepared a Ramadan Prayer Diary, and are calling for one million Seventh-day Adventists to pray for the work of AMR during Ramadan, 18 February to 19 March 2026.

The NEC AMR department, in conjunction with Prayer Ministries, are conducting 30 days of prayer, to coincide with 2026 Ramadan. We are following the General Conference Ramadan Prayer Diary, which is available at request from the NEC office.
